Gelbison at Leichhardt

We have introduced Gelbison to you and with it the taste of traditional cuisine from this area in its simple and authentic home cooking that our families have handed down from generation to generation. We also have specials that are changed on a weekly basis.

Gelbison is a mountain, 1704m high, in the southern Apennine alps of the Cilento National Park in the campania region of Italy (not far from the world wide known Amalfi Coast).

Gelbison is one of the many mountains that belong to Vallo Della Lucania, a beautiful town in a very fertile valley about 84km from Salerno, and only 18km from the seaside.

An enormous cross stands at the peak of Gelbison and when lit up at night it can be seen as far as the eye can see till it blends with the stars.
