Karen Willis Holmes couture bridal wear has met with great success following the opening of her Sydney atelier in 2000. Karen's wedding dresses reflect her lifelong love of vintage fashion influenced by the 18th century and the 1940’s dresses. Her designs reflect historic romance, sensuality and celebrate the spirit of the modern young woman - all with a Karen Willis Holmes twist.
Originally from England, Karen travelled back to London after completing her studies in Australia, and worked for a high profile label in the UK.
However, Karen soon found her calling in bridal couture wedding dresses. The main appeal for her was, and still is, in its demand for unfaltering attention to detail and exceptional fit. The Karen Willis Holmes label is positioned at the higher end of the luxury market, providing a stylish alternative to wedding dresses for the modern bride.
Following the success of her couture label, in 2004 Karen was inspired to create ready to wear bridal dresses, catering to clients who want wedding dresses with couture-like quality, innovative design, and a high level of customer service, but with the ease and price of a ready to wear wedding dress.

Such a beautiful dress that I will treasure forever....
The dress was an absolute hit - I felt so beautiful (and surprisingly comfortable!) I just wish I could wear it again... I had so many comments about the dress. A few said it was "the most beautiful dress they had ever seen" and I had to agree of course! Thanks again for making such a beautiful dress that I will treasure forever.
