My name is Melanie and I live in Hornsby with my husband. I have been tutoring Mathematics for six years, with a well-established tutoring company and have taken on private students in the last twelve months. I received a Band 6 (top rank) for both 2-unit and Extension 1 Mathematics in the HSC and received first class honours in my University degree.
I am passionate about teaching Maths and have found that too many kids are being left behind. Sadly, most of these children are more than capable of understanding the work. I also recognise that there is a strong need for adult re-education and revision of Mathematic concepts for re-training in fields, such as nursing, and at present, this need is not being met.
