WORST experience I have ever had!!!
I have never been so unhappy with a service in my life! i have never left ratings/reviews before either but i am so unhappy that i made an account especially for this one!
I went here for a 1 hour massage and 30 minute facial. The actual massage was quite nice and the girl who did it was nice, but that's the only good thing i have to say.
the main problem i have is the man who was working, he said the business was his wife's. He sat down with me and 'analyzed' my skin. And I'll tell you what, do not go to this place looking to feel good about yourself. The first thing he said was "Oh!!! look at all your blackheads!!!!' like he was so disgusted and shocked that i had black heads around my nose, "Oh I'll definitely have to tick that box as a problem area for you!!' Then went on to say how dehydrated and puffy my skin was. The bit that got me though was when he asked me to close my eyes, his reaction: "WOOOOOOAAAAAHH!!!!!! OH MY GOD!!!!!" and i just looked at him and said 'what?' he then responds: "Um have you seen your eyes! Look at all those red capillaries!!!!" he then made me walk up to the mirror and point out every single little flaw on my face. I was so embarrassed/in shock i just sort of laughed it off.
Then he introduced me to the therapist who was going to do my massage/facial. They then stood there pointing and staring at my skin pointing out all the flaws i had, as if i was not a human being.
But then of course "Don't worry, we can fix all of that for you!!" "our product is the the best bla bla bla"
So i had the massage and facial, which was all fine. The one thing i did notice was the unprofessional environment. They had this nice calming music in the massage room, which was overpowered by this really loud hip-hop gangsta music played in the other rooms with the staff. All I could hear was them chatting and laughing so loud.
I was so angry at that stupid man at the start and at myself for not walking out as soon as i copped the first insult that i could not even enjoy the massage.
I then felt so bullied into buying their product i left $64 lighter with a 'Blackhead' cream to hopefully fix my 'horrendous' face. The shock-horror look on their faces when i didn't purchase their 'whole' range of products they 'prescribed' to me was amazing. i was so happy to get out of that place, i almost wanted to cry. Her response "make sure you come back when you have money and buy the rest!" YEAH RIGHT!
