ABOUT RAY THE BUTCHER
The man behind this thriving business has been running around butcher shops since the age of ten. Raised in a family of butchers, Ray left school at the age of 16 and completed his apprenticeship, became manager and later bought the same butcher shop in North Sydney.
Continuing to run butcher shops on Sydney's North Shore, Ray then opened his Crows Nest butchers shop more than five years ago and turned an empty space into one of the most successful butcher shops in the area with the focus on supporting his local customers and businesses including restaurants and child care centres.
Ray believes that the continued growth of his business is dependent upon his team and his philosophy of being on a first names basis with his customers, working with other local businesses and providing the highest quality and value for money meat products including Condobolin Wagyu, Bangalow Pork and gluten free sausages.
