Shanahan Planning was established in 2000 by the owner and principal, Mark Shanahan.
With an honours degree in town planning and qualifications in law, Mark Shanahan has over 25 years professional experience in urban planning including senior planning and management roles in State Government, major planning consultancies, local councils and a planning law practice.
Mark Shanahan is a longstanding corporate member of the Planning Institute of Australia and has served on the Institute’s Metropolitan Planning Committee and (currently) the Planning Law Committee.
Shanahan Planning ensures that the Institute’s Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct is observed in all planning commissions we undertake.
