In February 2006, my daughter Dee commenced riding for the first time and after careful consideration, we chose the Showgrounds Equestrian Centre. Her goal was to be able to show jump for Modern Pentathlon. Eleta and the staff were amazing! In five short months, Dee was taught the basics of walking, trotting, cantering and jumping. The patience, experience and talent of the staff is without question, as Dee successfully completed the 12 jump, 15 effort round at a height of 60 – 80cm at the Modern Pentathlon Australian Championships in July 2006, coming away with a silver medal. There is no doubt that Eleta and her team provide excellent coaching and advice and care about the riders they teach, working with them to help them achieve their goals (whatever that goal might be!).
